I was hungry and you formed a humanities club to discuss my hunger.......

I was imprisoned and you crept off quietly to your chapel to pray for my release.......

I was naked and in your mind you debated the morality of my appearance...
What good did it do ????

I was sick and you knelt and thanked God for your health...
But I needed you.

I was homeless and you preached to me of the shelter of the love of God....
I wish you had taken me home.

I was lonely and you left me alone to pray for me....
Why didn't you stay with me and pray?

You seem so holy, so close to God;
But I am still very hungry, lonely, cold, and still in pain.

Then the King will say to those on his right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." -Matthew 25:34-40
