re my wasp sting last friday evening...

this morning the swelling is almost gone... but the itching started back in, something fierce... and yes i have had a wee bit of being sick to my stomach, but not bad... have put cortisone jell on it and that is helping, along with using ice paks and hot paks...   slept for about 6 hours and then the itching woke me...

   i was able to use my right hand totally last nite, and again this morning.. so, i am claiming a victory in Christ's name, over it all... it sure has been a lesson for me on what can happen in one quick instant..   no getting prepared, no getting away... it just happens... and that is the way death hits most of the time... sure, some folks get an extra time by having a drawn out illness to prepare for death, but most of the time, death strikes any age, any time, any where, with no warning...   what a blessing to already know Christ before and not be struck down without Him... nothing in life counts at all, in that one moment, except whether we have Christ or not.... all our good or bad deeds are down the drain... all our good intentions, etc are worthless... i just wish there was some way that i could shout this out to the world... there are so many, many souls out there that doesnt think about death and then when they do, they think it wont happen to them... but that quick, one tiny instant in time can mean an eternity...

    just my little sermon for this morning... but it is one of the things that has really been giving me a lot of thot since this happened... just how fast life can change...one tiny instant

I attended our worship service last night and we had an evangelist
named Jamey Ragle (might be familiar to some of you) who said
the following that really stuck with me. I pass it on to each of
you, not only for your own edification but for that of each member
of your family and all of your friends as well. Here is what he said:

"If you were to die right now, are you 100% sure that you would go
to Heaven? If you are "pretty sure" or even 99% sure, you can be
100% sure that you might miss the mark and be headed for hell.

Why not take the time right now to insure your eternal destiny by
fully accepting the free gift of Salvation and Eternal Life that the
Lord Jesus offers by giving yourself to Him? Settle the issue now,
once and for all. Remember that it is not the religion you belong
to that will save you but only the Relationship with the Lord
Jesus that will do so. In fact, religion has probably sent more
people to hell than anything else.

Get that relationship between the Lord Jesus and you settled
right now, once and for all!"

Beloved, this may be the most important thing you have ever
read, especially if you need to act on it for yourselves or for
members of your family!!

ONLINE EVANGELISTIC KIDS' GAME

KING'S CALL is an online evangelistic children's adventure game - a journey through the fantasy world of Kaleo and learning along the way about life, choices, and what's really important.

It's a project of CBH Ministries - their Dave Slayback writes: "We were very privileged to work with one of the top web developers in the US - a company called Funny Garbage. These talented folks have developed web sites for Cartoon Network, VH1, Noggin and The-N.com and many others. Funny Garbage thought of the idea - wouldn't it be great to do a web game that is like an adventure game but shares our message? So Michael Kanis (from CBH) and I worked on a design that drew from fantasy and used allegory like Pilgrim's Progress and tried to present it in a creative way. We knew we had to make it more than just a 'game' and had to communicate the Message and so the game is heavy with dialogue. Yet, our talented writers made the characters quite fun and funny. We do have some mini-arcade games within the larger game and a few puzzles too, and the artwork and animation and music by Funny Garbage is top-notch and really puts it in the 'really cool' realm.

One thing about the design is that we purposefully tried to design the game so that almost everybody can get through it - because if they don't get to the end, they miss the point of the game. But if it's too easy, then they don't really think or try - so it was quite a fine balance to make the game challenging but easy-to-finish. Overall, we are quite pleased with the completed game and are very encouraged by the response so far. We find that kids and teens and adults play it and really enjoy it. The only negative comments so far is the load time - it can take a few minutes on a 56K for each of the 5 scenes to load.

We're currently trying to promote the game and appreciate any links to it that we can get. Ultimately, we are trying to reach non-Christian kids and it's been quite difficult to get into that area and even be linked by non-Christian sites, likely because we have CBH listed on the game. Yet, we know that a lot of Christian kids would love playing this game too and seek Christian sites to link to us also."
