ALWAYS THERE

My Lord God, You have been there for me always. Oh My Father, no matter what I do You still love me. Lord, I look at myself and I ask, "Oh Father, how can You still love me?" Oh Lord, I am so human, this becomes increasingly obvious to me day after day. I do not know where I am going Lord, but above all, I know that You will be there with me.

Oh Lord, so many times I feel as if I am falling, I am constantly falling back into the old pattern of living. But Lord why? That way the pattern has no purpose, there is no point to a life without You. For without You Lord, there is no life. You are life, You are the very force that makes life. Oh My God! I cry out to You, I need You near me and yet I know from the very center of my being that You are there. You have always been there, always.

Oh Lord, there have been so many times when I have doubted, but to even that You had a purpose.

Oh Lord, forgive me. I know that You love me Father. You have spoken to me as a child, for indeed Father, You know that is what I am. You have spoken out of the darkness, when it seemed that there was no one there. You have whispered softly into my ear, "Peace My Child, Be still." Whenever I am scared, You speak and say, "Do not be afraid, I will not let You fall."

Oh Lord, Your words echo through my heart when emptiness surrounds me, and I know You are there. Whenever I start to ponder the things of deep thought You speak quietly to my mind, "Child, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Me and I will make straight your paths."
