FOREVER MORE THE LOVE OF THE LORD

In the desert
of my soul
I thirst for living water
to make me whole
My bones are dry
like the sands
that the wind blows
My lips are parched and sore
I can not say so
I can not see anymore
cause the storms of my heart are too many
I fall
For sorrow I know
In my heart I do not show
My body slowly decays
In the sun's rays
My mind sways
like ocean waves
Hopelessness the final call
I cry out
Lord save me
I can take no more
Suddenly
A shadow forms
long and tall
it covers my sores
A gentle wind blows away
the sands of the storm
Now a calm flat sea forms
I smile
A smile as bright as the sun's rays
Then a tear drop from above falls
quenches my thirst
I try to stand
I try to see with my all
I fall
For I'm in the presence
of the Living God
He heard my call.
Forever More the Love of the Lord.
